Physical Therapy

Whole Self Wellness’ founder, Andrea Dameron, DNP, APRN felt the need to open a manual therapy practice due to the lack of options in the area. • Manual therapy is a form of physical therapy that specializes in the treatment of the individual in which the therapist primarily uses their hands. Manual therapy focuses on restoring a three-dimensional balance to the body’s skeletal, muscular, and soft tissue structures such as ligaments, tendons, connective tissue, and fascia.

  • You will need to get a referral from a physician.

You will be assigned a primary therapist. A treatment plan will be devised with your individual needs and requirements in mind. Your primary therapist will monitor your daily progress and correspond with your physician as needed. Throughout your treatment, you will be re-evaluated so that we may modify and progress your treatment plans as needed.

Throughout your rehabilitation, many techniques will be used, all chosen according to your individual restrictions and needs. Your sessions will be 40 minutes long and conducted individually by a therapist who is specially trained in manual therapy.

Your active participation and commitment to your rehabilitation process are essential for treatment and recovery. To facilitate recovery, our approach is gentle and non-invasive, yet highly effective.
